Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac
Happy New Year everyone!
For this December's Gadget Tech review, I chose the Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro For Mac.
This was a holiday gift from my family, and I have been very happy with it so far.
Instead of writing a lot of technical "mumbo jumbo", I thought I would do a side-by-side comparison with the iSight camera on my 1 year old MacBook.
But before we do this comparison, lets look at a little information.
First, this QuickCam It can be found at Amazon:
Review: EverNote
Level: Beginner
Apple Quick Tips
Level: Beginner
Apple makes great computers and software. Their Quick Tips are equally impressive.
Even though I consider myself a power user, I still find lots of useful tips at http://www.apple.com/business/theater/.
The videos are fun and just the right length not to get bored.
Microsoft Security Essentials
Level: Beginner
Are you a Microsoft user and do any of the following apply?
Alternative To
Level: Beginner
AlternativeTo (http://alternativeto.net/) is a MUST HAVE in your in web toolkit.
Especially in today's economy, one can't shell out the $699 for a shinny new version of Photoshop. Don't get me wrong, I love Adobe Photoshop and I own several versions back (Creative Suite 2 for Windows), but I was looking for "AlternativesTo" Photoshop on the Mac. The keyword being "Alternatives".
Blog: Tech Presentation for Blogging 101 class at Ah Haa School
I put together a keynote presentation for the Blogging 101 class at the Ah Haa School.
A couple of notes: The presentation, is not a stand-alone presentation. In other words it was developed as presentation to be presented in person.
It also contains, items of interest to students in the class, and might not be applicable to general public.
Lastly, it is a bit rough around the edges.
Blogging 101 at Ah Haa School in Telluride Colorado
Do you have a interest in Blogging and will be in the Telluride Area (January 14-28 on Wednesdays 6-8pm)?
I have been invited by Maribeth Clemente (from http://www.bonjourtelluride.com) "to participate in one of the classes to explain the more technical aspects of setting up a blog."
A brief description of the class can be found here: http://www.ahhaa.org/classes.html
Hope to see you there.

Office Depot Tech Recycling

Ever wonder how to environmentally and economically get rid of that extra-large 1990’s Monitor that just does not work right anymore? That old TV, once you have replaced it with your brand new, super hip Flat Panel TV? Other electronics that you know should not be thrown into the dumpster?
PC Bug Finder On Mac, Yeah Right...
PC Bug Finder is a Fake Scan
I know this should not bother me, but I HATE websites that scare the user into thinking they have something wrong with their machines. UGH... No wonder why end users don't know what to do.
Anyway, Macs don't have the same problems as PC do, so this so ridiculous
